This page covers this website and our app. Last updated 6 October 2026.

What we count

The app and this website send us small, anonymous counts. They tell us which books children enjoy and where a story loses them. Each count says only this much:

• which book or game it is, such as "Little Squirrel and the New Friend";
• what happened, such as opening it, reaching a page, finishing it, playing a game, or a page failing to load;
• whether it came from the app or this website, and the app's version.

The counts go to our own server at Cloudflare. We keep them for three months, then they are deleted. We only look at totals, such as "120 finishes this week".

What we never collect

• No names, ages or faces, and nothing a child types or draws.
• No ID for a child, a device or a visit. Counts can't be joined into one person's history.
• No location. We don't store IP addresses with the counts.
• No cookies and no sign-in.
• Nothing goes to analytics or advertising companies.

This website

• It makes no requests to other sites. Its pictures and fonts all come from this site.
• It is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site. We keep no visitor logs.

The app

• Children's names, ages, favorites and reading progress stay on the device. They are not sent to us.
• A grown-up can turn the counts off. Open the grown-ups corner (hold the gear for 2 seconds, then tap three numbers) and turn off Share anonymous counts.
• Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see payment details.
